Hello! This is The Muppet Fan Teens. Let's get straight into what we are doing today. What are we doing today, David?
David: We are going to review The 5th and 4th episodes of The Muppet Show.
First, let's talk about the 4th episode with Ruth Buzzi. So, what did you think of it?
David: I think it was a really good episode.
Yeah, same with me. Mildred Huxtetter was good, like always.
David: You should tell frogfan76 all about season 1 of The Muppet Show, because Mildred Huxtetter is featured a lot and frogfan76 enjoys Mildred a lot.
Remember Ruth Buzzi with Sweetums?
David: Yeah, that was hysterical! Andrew?
What?
David: Remember the wind-up Kermit Scooter gave Kermit?
That part was really funny.
David: Yeah.
And, remember the part where Robot Kermit was introduced to Miss Piggy?
David: ( laughs) Oh, yeah!
Yeah, they all ended up fainting except for Robot Kermit.
David: I don't understand.. Miss Piggy shouldn't faint.
Well, sometimes people faint, including Miss Piggy.
David: But, Miss Piggy's not the type to... POTATOES!
Why are we even talking about Miss Piggy fainting?
David: You were the one that brought It up!
I have a question: What did you think of Ruth Buzzi?
David: She was OK. The only part I really liked was when she hit Sweetums.
For some reason, the early guest stars aren't very good, except for Joel Grey.
David: Remember the part with the country band at the end? " You can't go swimming in a baseball field.."
Yeah, that was funny. It was just a random country band.
David: Yeah.
Ready to go onto episode 5 with Rita Moreno as guest star?
David: Yes, I am.
Okay. This episode was the best, so far.
David: Yes. It really was.
The opening number was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. Because Rita Moreno was kicking a weird-looking Muppet around.
David: And throwing him. And almost destroying a whole restaurant!
YEAH!
David: She should've been given a tab for restaurant destruction.
She should've.
David: I don't think they would've let alchol on The Muppet Show.
Well, they did have it on The Muppet Show, so bam!!!!!
David: I gotta say Jim Henson should've been given a fine for that..
I don't think he should've been given a fine..
David: Alchol was illegal in the 60's!
No, it wasn't!
David: Well, I think he still should've gotten fined for it.
What did you think of the number with Animal and Rita Moreno?
David: I think that was really just hysterical.
Did you know that the Rita Moreno episode of The Muppet Show won an Academy Award for Best Guest Star?
David: It was a very good episode. It was hysterical. It was something! Something that should've been given a Academy Award.
How do you think about the running gag of Fozzie answering the telephone?
David: I liked the " Los Vegas" one. " Who was it?" " Los Vegas." Where did they do The Muppet Show?
They did it in north of London. Jim Henson filmed things in California, New York, London, and Canada.
David: Canada? ( laughs)
I think that's offensive to our Canadian fans.
David: ( laughs) Well, do you know what's offensive to Canadian fans? You don't see angry Canadians that much.
So, I liked the Fozzie telephone thing where it was like " the water department."
David: Oh, yeah!
We thought that the " Los Vegas" one.. we thought that they were going to say the bank.
David: Yeah. Imagine if Jim Henson was walking like," Well, Andrew and David, I put ' Los Vegas', not the bank!!!" That's like Jim Henson now.
Jim Henson isn't alive!
David: I know that!!! Jim Henson died because Miss Piggy fell on Kermit!
That's not how he died.......................
David: The puppets put pressure on Jim Henson, and Jim Henson fell and landed on the ground. There was a sharpy thingy there, and the sharpy thingy fell on his back. Everyone knows that!!!
........................................................................................................ So, what were your overall thoughts on this episode?
David: Probably the phone bit.
Aw, yeah. I loved that. That was probably the best moment we'll see in season 1.
David: Yeah. Or, when Rita Moreno throws that big puppet around.
Yeah, that was hilarious! Well, see you soon! That's it for today's blog! Bye, Muppet fans!

Muppet Show reviews: Episode 2 and 3
Hello! This is The Muppet Fan Teens, reporting our very first post. My dad is The Muppet Fan, and I thought it would be interesting to have a blog with his approval. So, my name is Andrew and I'm 14 years old. Today, me and my friend David, who is 13, are going to talk about something. What are we going to talk about, David?
David: We are going to review the 2nd and 3rd episodes of The Muppet Show/
That's right! We just watched both of those episodes, and now we will review them. Okay, let's start off with episode 2.
David: I think it was really good, except for the guest star. No offense to Connie Stevens.
Yeah, I think Connie Stevens was trying too hard.
David: I think that she didn't like The Muppets, but she's like, in love with Kermit, so..
Well, I liked the short appearance by Ernie and Bert with Connie Stevens. That was the only part I liked of Connie Stevens.
David: Yeah. Me, too.
What was your favorite part of the episode?
David: My favorite part is " At the Dance" where Animal goes, " 1-2-3 DIP!" then dips his dance down.
Yeah, that was a good part. There was also a surprise appearance by Mildred Huxtetter in " At the Dance." I'm sure frogfan76 would like that.
David: I'm sure he would like it, too.
You know what I thought was weird? At the end of Connie Stevens' act, she punched the Mutations in the gut. What was that for?
David: She didn't punch them, she elbowed them.
Yeah, I guess that's true. Want to know another weird thing about Connie Stevens? She acted like she didn't like any of the Muppets, except for Kermit and Fozzie.
David: I think the episode was really good.
There's not really much to talk about this episode.
David: There's a lot to talk about for the next episode with Joel Grey.
She kept on talking about her teenage love, Connie Stevens.
David: Yeah, her boyfriend's car was her actual love.
Now, let's talk about the Joel Grey episode. I liked how Mildred Huxtetter was in this a lot.
David: I liked that, and I think frogfan76 would've liked that.
Yeah. Now, I liked that weird Turkey number.
David: ( laughs) Yeah, the Turkey number was funny. TURKEYYYYYY... ( starts laughing, then stops) My head fell off.
Don't worry: David's head did not fall off. I liked the Joel Grey Muppet Cabaret number.
David: Yeah, me too. You couldn't even understand what he was saying most of the time.
I liked the backstage part where Fozzie was annoying me.
David: Oh, yeah. That part was HILARIOUS.
Miss Piggy was really weird in both of the episodes.
David: Yeah, her hair was straight.
I thought that the razzle-dazzle number was great.
David: Razzle.. oh, yeah. The razzle-dazzle number was hilarious. Oh, and remember the joke when Kermit said, " Fozzie, could you please stop?" to have Fozzie say, " Please... I have a wife and please take her away."
Yeah, Fozzie's jokes were really improving in this episode.
David: Remember the part with the troll guy? Where the guy keeps blowing up stuff?
I love that part!
David: It was weird!! I don't know.. it just felt like it was weird because he blew up Muppets.
There was a really long theme song, for this episode.
David: Yeah.
Like, there was extra parts about the guest star.
David: Oh, yeah.
But, I liked this episode.
David: Joel Grey has a wife, 2 children, 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a turtle. And, he was born in Ohio and moved to New York.
Oh, that part was funny. " Geesh, what a dull guest." Heh heh. I think that Gonzo looks too sad in this episode.
David: Yeah, he really does. I think he looks too much like ( shows us the scariest sad face ever)
So, I liked this episode.
David: Yeah.
Want to end this review?
David: Sure.
See you tomorrow when we review episodes 4 and 5!
